After escaping his cell aboard a MI6 ship based in Hong Kong harbour, Bond lands at the Hong Kong Yatch Club in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island and proceeds to the Royal Rubyeon Hotel. His appearance unkept from months in confinement (soaking wet, with a heavy beard, long hair and still wearing the pyjamas from his detention by MI6) he asks the hotel clerk for his usual suite. The man replies with pompous contempt, sarcastically asking if he has a credit card or even luggage. After recognizing Bond, Mr. Chang, the manager of the establishment, warmly welcomes him and rebukes the clerk; making the hotel's Presidential Suite available to him. Whilst in his room Chang sends another Chinese operative - posing as a masseuse - to probe Bond for more information. Despite initially going along with the play, Bond uses the opportunity to disarm Peaceful Fountains of Desire, stripping her of the pistol concealed in her thigh holster. He then throws an ashtray into a two-way mirror, revealing a hidden compartment from where Mr. Chang and his colleagues were secretly filming the pair. After Bond convinces Chang that Zao is their common enemy, he arranges for him to travel to Cuba in pursuit of the North Korean agent. When you think of a dog, usually a Labrador springs to mind… When you think of James Bond, usually Pierce Brosnan springs to mind. He introduced Ian Fleming’s legendary character to many 90’s and early 2000’s kids alike, with four hugely entertaining outings as the British Agent. To cap off the bizarre year that has been 2020, here is a FAN MADE trailer for the delayed Bond film 'No Time to Die' EXCEPT this one interprets the film through the concept of ALTERNATE HISTORY; Specifically the idea of what if previous Bond actor Pierce Brosnan never left the lead role? Inspired by other dark and gritty blockbuster sequels we see today that pick-and-choose their franchise canon, such as 'Logan' or 'Terminator: Dark Fate', and made specifically with elements edited in recognition towards Brosnan's era and how a continuation of that would happen. For example part of the alternate history is the studio 20th Century Fox still exists as is, and whilst some other core elements of story and casting remain (Lea Seydoux, Rami Malek) some are changed to fit the gritty genre tropes and status (more of a muted revenge thriller than action blockbuster, Mark Strong replacing Christoph Waltz as Blofeld, etc.).
