The video is best watched as a whole, as it is supposed to be a “journey” that starts off by exploring surface level topics like fake news, but then begins to descend deeper and deeper into the lies, until we’re left questioning everything. 2. This video is clearly more cynical than some of my other content. That’s partially because I think this ‘dark documentary’ vibe is interesting/unique and something I want to explore more of, but it’s also because I truly believe there is a major problem in our society right now, where lies spread so quickly and easily. Whilst these concepts may be nothing new to you, I hope it at least makes us all stop to question things slightly more. That said, obviously I do not actually think we should doubt literally everything, and no I don’t think all of the media is evil or that we are just brains in vats. My point was that the things we believe to be certain are not necessarily certain. This doesn’t mean we should stop believing in everything, it’s simply a reminder to be aware of the biases we all have, so we can try to make better choices. 3. I briefly use a Pewdiepie clip and imply portions of the media twisted things to demonize him. I know a small minority may think I am ‘defending anti-Semitism’ so I just want to clarify I am NOT at all. My point (which hopefully the vast majority would agree with) is that Pewdiepie is not a Nazi-sympathiser, and yet sections of the media portrayed him that way, so I felt it was a good example of how the media can present such a one-sided narrative. 4. Near the beginning I say the term ‘fake news’ originated in 2016. I'm not saying fake news didn’t exist prior to that, what I mean is it became a mainstream expression around that time (largely thanks to the Malaysian fake news sites mentioned). I also want to stress this video is not partisan at all. Yes, the term ‘fake news’ has become more politicized recently, but it is not a right or left issue, it’s an ‘everyone’ issue. This includes half-truths and biased reporting. We address how the media is still a business, which is why we have seen the rise of clickbait articles trying to capture your attention. However, we also consider how our own biases impacts how we interpret not just news, but all information. We consider how we all have psychological biases such as confirmation bias, that distort the news and information we hear. Towards the end, we even start to question reality itself - and explore ideas like solipsism and The Mandela effect. Whilst some of these ideas are extreme, questioning information we hear (from all sides), can often be healthy. This video does not really mean you should never believe in anything, it simply means it's healthy to seek out the other side of the argument, before rushing to conclusions. So, there've been this story making the rounds on social that the people of BRAZIL mocked God at the Rio De Janeiro carnival parade of 2023, and the wrath of God descended on them like it did to the city of Sodom and Gomorrah. In fact, it was Andy Griffith himself that discovered him and offered him a role on his sitcom. Gomer Pyle was a friendly yet obtusely unsophisticated character. While he might not have been the brightest crayon in the box, Pyle proved to be so popular with audiences that he was eventually even given his own spin-off series, Gomer Pyle USMC. While he was a gifted comic who played his role quite well, Nabors also had one heck of a baritone singing voice. Throughout the 60s and 70s, Nabors showed off his pipes on a handful of variety shows, including The Carol Burnett Show. In 1965, Nabors landed a record deal with Columbia Records and proceeded to cut numerous albums and singles, most of which were romantic ballads. In 2017, Jim Nabors passed away at his home in Honolulu, Hawaii at the age of 87. Just a few years before his death, Jim revealed a secret that he had been harboring all his life. While his revelation might not have been that surprising to many people today, if he had opened up about this secret years ago at the height of his Andy Griffith show fame, it likely would have abruptly ended his career. If you hang onto the darkened periods of your past, then you allow it to still define you today. God wants to use the story of your painful past and your redeemed life for His glory. Repent, ask forgiveness, move through it, and replace it with the grace and love promised YOU by God through Jesus. Know that your wounds, your past, and your weaknesses – when surrendered to God – are actually what God uses powerfully in His service. Do you believe the lie of the enemy, or do you believe the promises of God made through Jesus? Wikipedia:The past is the set of all events that occurred before a given point in time. The difference between guilt and shame. ·Guilt is a sense of remorse and the desire to make amends; Shame is the intensely painful feeling or experience of believing we are flawed and unworthy of acceptance and belonging. ·Guilt overcome by the conviction of God’s spirit is encouraging because it leads to repentance; Guilt held onto weighs you down, is spiritually crippling, and leads to Shame. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. DISCUSSION QUESTIONS 1. Do you believe you have done something unforgivable, or have you done something that you still need to forgive yourself for? 2. Who do you say, the world say, and God say you are? 3. Do you believe that God can use you? 4. Whose lives can you speak into to help them forgive themselves and see themselves as God does?

In Acts 24:14 based on the MEYER correction reads: 14 However, I admit that I worship the God of our ancestors as a follower of the Way, which they call a sect. I believe in all things which [are] though out the Law and that is written in the Prophets….” This was spoken by Paul in 57 AD. This serves Luke's goal of informing Theophilus of the legality of Christianity as still legitimately within Judaism. Theophilus is a magistrate at Rome to whom Luke's Gospel and Acts are addressed for his help to obtain acquittal at the upcoming trial of Paul. They succeeded. Luke-Acts are intended to win favor with Roman magistrate Theophilus who in turn would help Christianity win an acquittal that our religion was new, and hence illegal. Mr. Mauck's book explains: “Luke-Acts was written as a legal defense of Paul as he awaited trial before Nero and was intended to bring the gospel to Theophilus even as he gathered facts concerning the charges against Paul.” (John W. Mauck, Esq., Paul on Trial: The Book of Acts as a Defense of Christianity (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 2001) at 4.) So far we have seen Luke has to use many things that Christians would not admire about Paul, but this one is different. In prior videos we saw: Acts 17:24 – “God does not live in temples made of human hands.” Anti-Biblical, but very important for trial acquittal, and no loss of valid status under Judaism approved by Roman law.. Acts 16:17-18 – Python priestess for “many days” endorses Paul’s “way of salvation” until Paul exorcises her. Acts 21:4; 10-11; 15; 24; Acts 20:22-23 – believers who were prophets “kept telling Paul” to “not go to Jerusalem” but Paul went anyway as “my spirit” constrains “me.” Here, the embarrassment is purely for Paul's own self-contradiction with his positions in earlier writings - Gal. from 47 AD; 1 & 2 Cor. in 53-56 AD. Gal. 3:19; 4:8-9: Paul says f you want to obey Sabbath, Oh foolish Galatians, you are following the Law “which was ordained by the angels through the hands of a mediator [i.e., Moses]” (Gal.3:19) Paul says such “foolish” Gentiles are desiring to submit to be in bondage to those who "are no gods." The Galatians thus wrongly seek to submit to the "weak and beggarly elements [i.e, angels were called elements – Vincent Word Studies]. You observe days…." (Gal. 4:8-9.) "Elements" in that verse is explained by Vincent. In Vincent's Word Studies on Gal. 4:9, we read: “The elements of the world are the personal, elemental spirits. This seems to be the preferable explanation, both here and in Col 2:8. According to Jewish ideas, all things had their special angels. In the Book of Jubilees, chapter 2, appear, the angel of the presence (comp. Isa 63:9); the angel of adoration; the spirits of the wind, the clouds, darkness, hail, frost, thunder and lightning, winter and spring, cold and heat.” Based upon that passage, Martin Luther, the reformer, gave a sermon "How Christians Should Regard Moses," on August 27, 1525, and he said: “Now the words which are here written [in the Law of Moses] were spoken through an angel. This is not to say that only one angel was there, for there was a great multitude there serving God and preaching to the people of Israel at Mount Sinai. The angel, however, who spoke here and did the talking, spoke just as if God himself were speaking and saying, "I am your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt," etc. [Exod. 20:1], as if Peter or Paul were speaking in God's stead and saying, "I am your God," etc. In his letter to the Galatians [3:19], Paul says that the law was ordained by angels.” This means Luther read it just like Paul meant it that the law was given by angels, not God, and even though the Bible reads as if God gave it, God did not. And hence, the Sabbath is not obligatory, per Galatians, precisely because the Torah itself because God did not give it, but angels did who are "no gods," and "weak and beggerly elements." Paul speaks likewise of circumcision a command that only in voluntary circumstances could ever apply to Gentiles. Gal. 5:2-12 NIV. 2 Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. 3 Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. 4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. 5 For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. Circumcision is Entirely Optional for Gentile. If a sojourner (Gentile) wishes to participate in Passover feast at someone's home which is voluntary, then the Gentile must be circumcised. (Exodus 12:48.) Also later, Ezekiel added prophetically that a Gentile who wished to enter the Temple had to be circumcised. Ezekiel 44:9.
